Brentwood(United Kingdom), 21 August: Chetan decided to take us to a place called Dover, a major ferry port town. It is in Kent, South East England. It is the narrowest English channel and 833 kilometres from Cap Gris Nez in France. It is also the administrative centre of the Dover district and home of the Port Dover. An unending strip of grasslands: Adjacent to the port there are unending grasslands while the hillock looks so beautiful and covered with grass. All along you can see grass grown to knee-length. At the same time, the weather was biting cold, and the breeze was cool at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour. Five kilometres by walk: We had to walk around five kilometres to reach the post called the Lighthouse. It has become a tourist place. Our friend Maruti had difficulty coping with cold and wind.
